Sovereign God

I am fighting hard to keep a soft and humble heart during these days. However, I am growing increasingly more bitter and determined to cling to my Guns and Religion, and yes I am beginning to harbor apathy for those like B.O. I wake up and after kissing my wife and thanking God for the day before me, my thoughts go to that which lies ahead. God is sovereign and I fully trust that he will be as Sovereign in the coming days as he was in the days of Daniel and Nebuchadnezzar. He will be in just as much control as he was during the days of Stalin and Hitler. I do not use the terms lightly, they are not just words and speeches. I am preparing my heart to love in spight of the massive hatred that will be thrust upon everything we hold dear. The America that I once loved is in what I believe to be in it's death throes. Not that the word America will go anywhere but the image that it will conjure will be a stark contrast to that which made us a great people. I know that I am not alone in these sentiments neither am I preaching doom and gloom. I know that there is a light at the end of this tunnel and that light is The King Of Kings and Lord of Lords. Whether now or on November 5th, the Battle cry must be No King But Jesus! Faith is the Foundation For Freedom!

The Obama camp has been threatening television and radio stations to keep them from airing anti-Obama ads.

The latest target is the NRA and stations in Pennsylvania.

Earlier this week, the National Rifle Association's Political Victory Fund released a series of radio and television spots to educate gun owners and sportsmen about Barack Obama's longstanding anti-gun record. In response to the NRA-PVF ads, a clearly panicked Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) are doing everything they can to hide Obama's real record by mounting a coordinated assault on the First Amendment.


The NRA has set up a web site detailing its position on Obama at www.gunbanobama.com.

Amercans For Faith

What a great day on God's Green Earth. Frances and I attended the Florida Right to Lfe Board of Directors meeting. We had a very good meeting and there have been some very interesting developments there that we will discuss in further details at a future date.
Frances and I also attended the Palin Victory Rally at the villages. Although it was very hot, it was a great event with a terrific turnout.

Now to the news... The McCan Camp has tapped me on the shoulder along with Theresa Graham to Co Chair Americans for Faith in Duval County. Americans for Faith is the faith based arm of the McCain Campaign. We will be assisting in reaching the community of faith with the message of hope. This is a great opportunity to support issues tha matter most to those of faith. After all, Faith is the Foundation For Freedom!

An Obama Nation or Abomination

He actually qoutes the Bible in calling for Americans to recognize Homosexual Marriage!
Every day brings us just a little closer to the stark reality of who this man is and who he portrays himself to be. If we are not appalled and stunned by his open and un abashed support for the destruction of the American family than you should be ashamed of ourselves.

What is this Nation coming to when a man such as this is even considered to lead this Nation. If he is elected then I would have to wholeheartedly agree with his pastor.

Faith, Family, Freedom

On my way to service this morning I was struck by a thought. As much energy and resources we have put behind the Mike Huckabee Campaign, if Mike, a mere man,was my focus than I was practicing idolotry. But as I thought more, I realized that the passion for Faith, Family and Freedom did not derive with Mike Huckabee. Since becoming a follower of Christ I been adamant that Faith is the Foundation For Freedom and as a Christian, I wanted to see others that would step up and fight the fight. Not just in the pulpit but in politics as well. We have many great Christian leaders who are respected but when we step up to the highest office in the land what happens? This is not a pity party...far from it! This is a challenge! A Clarion call if you will.
Mike Huckabee led this charge and I was there at the Alamo on Texas Tuesday. But I drove out of Houston later that evening inspired by, not only the courage of Mike Huckabee but by the many ardent supporters who came out and braved the elements against the odds. Why? To support a man? I think not. But more so to fight for what we believe is the Foundation of this "Blessed Country" (Contrary to Obama's Pastor) Faith, Family, and Freedom, in that order.
I am blessed to stand with so many men and women across these Blessed United States of America and say to those of the F3 Coalition...United we stand...Divided we fall!

I was just pouring through some FEC reports, and this is interesting ... Mike Huckabee famously had difficulty gaining support from other prominent Evangelicals (who probably should have been with him all along).

Apparently, this phenomenon wasn't limited to Evangelicals. Robert McNair, co-founder and Finance Chairman of the Fair Tax was actually a major donor to Romney, Thompson, and Giuliani -- but I can't find where he donated a dime to Huckabee.

Of course, this begs the question: If Huckabee couldn't count on the Fair Tax co-founder, who could he count on?

Internet Activism at it's Best

Last evening I had the priveledge of meeting Vincent Harris. Vincent was one of Mike Huckabees Bloggers. It was very interesting to listne as he expounded upon how to find and keep interesting content on your blog in order to promote the causes and or candidates that you are promoting. He did a great job on Mike's Page as well. Thank you Vincent for your effort in supporting Mike Huckabee for President. Vincent has several blogs one of which is www.tooconservative.com
We were also able to hear from the inside of Ron Paul's Campaign and how the grassroots promoted and executed The MoneyBomb which raised over 10 million dollars on two days. Justine Lam was also asked what the key to RP's Fundraising was and she basically stated that you have 3 key elements to success; The Message,The Grassrots bought in and they actually opened the $ #'s.
This Training at The Leadership Institute is truly worth it's weight in Gold!

Internet Activism at LI

I made it to D.C. today and had plenty of time to settle in.( Although it cost me 80 dollars for a speeding ticket in South Carolina!) The training was terrific and had a chance to meet Vincent Harris who was one of Mike Huckabee's Bloggers. It was also interesting to learn how Ron Pauls people raised the money on the internet. Justine Lam did a great job fielding questions about their internet strategy. I am looking forward to applying all that I am learning! I will be here until Friday when I will return home to my Beautiful!

A New Day Dawns...

Good Morning America! It has been a long and arduous journey and we have come to a fork in the road. I do not regret the time, money, or sweat that we have put into the effort to have a main of faith elected to the highest office in the land. It has been a pleasure and an honor to serve Mike Huckabee. His message energized those who listened and brought hope to those of us who had grown cynical of politics and politicians who use their offices for self gain and promotion.
I am no longer able to sit back in the arm chair and complain about, "how THEY screwed things up." I am responsible for the knowledge that God has provided. Mike Huckabee did not just give us a voice, he made us realize that we HAVE a voice.
This movement is not about a man named Mike. This began thousands of years ago with a Man named Jesus. Like it or not, this man changed lives. I can personally attest to that as I have been changed by The Man, His Message and His Mission! Wherever His Words impact a heart there Will be Radical Change in a man, his message and his mission. They two shall become one.
Faith is the Foundation For Freedom is the rally cry for those who have been set free by the work of Christ on the Cross of Calvary. He did not stay in the grave. He rose and sent his disciples out to Revolutionize the world. Today you and I are Christians (I pray) because of their faith and the faith of others who serve a Risen Savior.
Now go Ye into all the world...

This could get Political

The last few days have been very exciting and suspense filled to say the least. As we enter a very important time in Americas history, we are very much divided in thoughts and sentiment. As one not prone to politics it is eye opening to see just what is involved with politics. We as sinful human beings have impure motives at best. One of the biggest struggles that goes on in my own heart is to question, "Does this action glorify God?" Yet there is a battle to do what is pleasing to myself or others....then there is a decision to be made. As a Christian I am taught to walk by faith, I seek wisdom through prayer, studying God's Word and counseling with others much wiser than myself, then when all has been weighed in the balance, a decision must be made. To decide not to decide is a decision that I am altogether prone to, and therefore I am apt to abdicate that responsibility to others, thereby releasing myself from the "blame" if things go south. We can see this behavior played out in the garden of Eden when God confronted Adam.
If I am to conduct myself in a manner that will glorify God then there will come times when I will have to make decisions that are not the status quo and will be misunderstood by many, even those closest to us. This is what makes men, men of character.
